A-frames
General Description: The
A-frame is called a "Contact Obstacle" (along with the Teeters, Dog-walk, and Pause Table) because your dog is
required to touch the yellow "contact zones" with its paws. It
is the largest of the obstacles, and are usually made of an aluminum
frame to make it easier to move around. It can be adjusted in height
for training, but in competitions, the a-frame is always put at the same,
full height, no matter what size dog uses it. It is an obstacle used
at every agility level, by all the agility organizations, as well as for
K9 police training. Also called a Scaling Wall.

Aframe, some common
call words to use are: Frame, Wall, Scramble, Mountain (more
call names)
